CERAN Lingua International is located in the English town of Warwick, about an hour and 45 minutes away from London by train. Intensive language courses take place throughout the whole year, even on holidays. CERAN is housed in a castle-like manor house, equipped with the latest learning technologies. Included in the infrastructure are nicely furnished classrooms (all with whiteboards and video), a language laboratory, a small winter garden, where coffee, water and fruit juices are always available to students, a lounge, and a large garden with seating areas. CERAN offers a structured learning program with nine educational activities each instructional day and both private and group sessions are supplemented with self-study guided by a tutor. The learning program is rounded off with evening socio-cultural activities, for example public speaking, discussions, role-plays, or other intercultural communication. Due to the balanced learning phases, and the manner in which these mutually support each other, students can make optimal use of the invested learning time and can increase the rate of learning progress considerably. Daily during the seminars, tutors and students work together to evaluate the success achieved so far, and from that make ongoing revisions to individual learning goals.
